Here is my darling angel playing in the dog's dish. (Don't worry. It had just been through the dishwasher).
She is growing up so beautifully. How did I create this person? We've been house-sitting recently and there's so much room for Shelbi to walk around and explore...and there's a dog. Matty is her name, and they are best friends. Shelbi enjoys feeding the dog, and as you may guess, the dog enjoys being fed. Shelbi will follow her around the house for a while, and next thing you know, the dog is following Shelbi around. It's so cute to see them interact!!
One interaction that's not so cute yet is my interaction with this new baby. I never felt this sick when I was pregnant with Shelbi, but this new baby is not shy about letting me know he's there. I'm talking nausea, which I guess is not uncommon in the first trimester, but it's uncommon for me!! Also, I'm so tired all the time, and I have no energy, and...I'm just feeling pregnant!!!! I oughtn't complain, however, because at least this baby is alive and healthy. That's all one can ask for really.
Poncho wants him to be a boy so badly. He has two girls from a previous relationship, and now we have Shelbi, so he's ready to pass on his man genes I guess. I will be happy either way. Like I said, I just want a healthy, happy baby. I wonder what Shelbi will think when this new little addition comes into the world. I hope they are best friends.
I go to class in the evening nowadays which is easier than waking up early. I don't mind moseying into class around 5pm nearly as much as I mind running 15 minutes late just because I woke up at 6:45 AM as opposed to 6:30. I am not a morning person.
I'm going to go gaze with content at my Sleeping Beauty. TTFN
